Pembanding Win XP dan Win Vista




OS Windows Vista sering menjudge performanya lebih baik dibandingkan dengan windows XP namun kenyataannya Windows Vista lebih lambat dibandingkan dengan performa Windows XP mungkin ini disebabkan dalam Windows XP hanya memerlukan spek memory yang cukup rendah 512 MB dibandingkan dengan Vista yang membutuhkan > 512 MB, dan yang menambah buruk Win Vista banyaknya program yang tidak compatible dengan OS ini .
Namun bila kita melihat dari sisi tampilan, Vista jauh lebih di depan dibanding Win XP, OS ini sudah menggunakan direct-x 10 .
Permasalah yang sering dihadapi Win XP adalah mudah terserang virus.

Bagi Anda pengguna Laptop lebih baik menggunakan OS Win XP karena lebih hemat daya dibanding dengan Win Vista.
Bila Anda mau belajar atau bahkan Anda bekerja dibidang database dan menggunakan oracle ada baiknya Anda menggunakan Win XP. Oracle Support di OS ini, bila Oracle dipasang di OS Win 7 atau Vista dsb dia tidak bisa langsung terinstal harus menambah plugin tertentu.
Win XP menurut saya lebih baik dibanding dengan Win Vista , tapi hal ini mendapat solusi yaitu Munculnya OS Win 7 , banyak kalangan bilang bahwa OS ini dengan menggunakan performa Win XP (lebih ringan) dan visual Win Vista serta dilengkapi dengan sistem securitas yang tinggi.
Dalam Win 7 juga sudah terdapat driver yang cukup lengkap contoh printer , hal ini mungkin dikarenakan Microsoft sudah semakin banyak bekerja sama dengan vendor-vendor lain (Handshake Communication).
